Margarita Rivchachenko, 26
Hello everyone, my name is Margarita. I was born and raised in Kharkiv and have a master's degree in journalism. Last year was very unexpected for me and many other Ukrainians. On February 20, it was my birthday, and almost after returning from my birthday, it was already February 23, 2022, and the next day I was already in the military registration and enlistment office. I still work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with various PR, communication and copywriting tasks. I have also acquired the skills of a military medic.
My experience over the past year has helped me develop a number of ideas for my own business in the field of medicine and healthcare. I expect that the Young Veterans of Ukraine project will help me improve my current skills and competencies, as well as make me learn new ones. Even while waiting for my country to win, I think it is important to show by my example that I want to stay working in Ukraine. In turn, I hope to create job opportunities for my countrymen and a successful future for the country.
Hi, I'm Margarita, I'm 26 and I'm a military officer.
During this time, I managed to re-profile from a PR manager and ghostwriter to a paramedic and then a press officer.
I worked 3 jobs at the same time, as a press secretary for an MP, an independent PR specialist, and a writer for UP.
On February 23, I flew back from a trip where I celebrated my birthday, and on February 24, I was already at the military registration and enlistment office at noon.
It was a conscious decision, because either we all fight and survive, or there will be neither us nor the country.
During this time, I managed to:
● Serve as a paramedic in Kyiv, conducting training for soldiers and equipping the battalion with first aid kits;
● serve as a press officer in the Kharkiv region and cover the counteroffensive;
● a press officer in the Donetsk region.
I want to develop my business in Ukraine and make it help my brothers. I am planning a business in the medical field.
