The second part of the hackathon for the project supporting young veterans and internally displaced persons in Ukraine.
The organizers of the event, the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Ihor Taburets, and representatives of the Cherkasy city government delivered welcoming speeches.
Over the course of three days, young veterans and internally displaced persons participated in training, lectures, motivational games, and sessions with a psychologist.
As a reminder, 60 participants were selected out of more than 600 applicants for the project. These are young veterans and IDPs who have ideas for starting or developing their own businesses.
The main goal of the project is to provide opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship for young veterans and internally displaced persons. This includes education, meetings with businessmen and trainers. A series of events in the project focuses specifically on the educational component. The project provides grants for the development of personal businesses to ten participants.
This project is being implemented by consortium members: NGO "CHAS DIY", NGO "SMART MEDIA", NGO "UKRAINIAN VETERANS", and NGO "SOS UKRAINE", funded by the European Union and carried out in Ukraine.
